LINECENSOR: TABOO AGENT

EVENT DESCRIPTION

Any nation in the world has its own taboos, some people think that taboos are established rules that cannot be broken in vain. Others think that taboos are ancient nonsense, but they are more or less afraid. Under the baptism of the big era, popular culture has gradually formed opposition to taboos. Under the crisscross of new and old, bondage and unrestrained, such a landscape is the most natural in the city.

In our life, we will constantly encounter large and small opposites, just as others often say that there are always two sides of things that can not be predicted or controlled. Because of these opposites, we often make the inner small theater of the soul shadow many wonderful dramas every day, just like a familiar picture with a sense of joy and a little darkness. Angels and devils linger in the ear to compete for the person’s thoughts. It is such a different idea that always seesaws in the brain.

The delicate artist LINECENSOR (real name: Kiatanan Iamchan) comes from Thailand. His personal art belief is to convey the small interests of his thoughts through vision. Artistic belief, visual communication of ideas, the fun of creating a look symbolic and linking the taboo with the contradictory interpretation of pop culture trends. It is a recording of something that is natural in the mind that thoughts flow, arise, die, change all the time. Fantasies and answers, demands, narcissism, beauty, love, hate, hunger, craving, abstraction. With the concrete. The unreasonable appreciation and acceptance of new beauty. While there is the blasphemy of the soul, both the good and the bad. The final essence from the journey to find the state of the mind.

LINECENSOR’s works are very rich in pictures, so you can’t read them at first sight. On the contrary, you will want to fully appreciate each individual in the painting, and every corner of each detail has surprises. In Thailand’s traditional culture and Buddhism, painters have put new forms in their works, making these two elements sound more solemn and serious than the author. There are little girls with doubts in the picture, including skeletons, Thai gods, war horses, and even traditional Japanese geisha, who are as complex as their inner thoughts.
