EVENT DESCRIPTION
“Heritage Vogue · Hollywood Road” returns this year on November 20 as one of the celebration events for the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The event is spearheaded by the Commissioner for Heritage’s Office of the Development Bureau in collaboration with the Antiquities and Monuments Office, PMQ, Tai Kwun and Tung Wah Group of Hospitals. Students from the Hong Kong Design Institute were also involved in providing the design proposals for the event.
In addition to Tai Kwun, PMQ and Man Mo Temple on the Hollywood Road, this year’s event will also be staged at nine historic buildings in the Central and Western District, including Central Market, Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong Bridges Street Centre, Dr Sun Yat-sen Museum, Fringe Club, Hong Kong City Hall, Hong Kong Museum of Medical Sciences, Hong Kong News-Expo, The Helena May, and The Murray, Hong Kong, a Niccolo Hotel.
The event returns this year with a series of guided tours, workshops, exhibitions, art, outdoor movie screening, traditional culture and performances, together with the free hop-on-hop-off bus service, providing a unique opportunity for the public on an in-depth journey to explore the Central and Western District.
