The cultural highlight of November has undoubtedly been the official opening of M+ Museum on 12 November, which saw more than 11,000 enthusiastic visitors thronging on the first day!

FRENCH SCIENCE FESTIVAL 2021
Organised by The Consulate General of France in Hong Kong and Macau in partnership with the Hong Kong Science Museum, the French Science Festival explores the power of brain and emotions through numerous outreach activities (exhibition, discovery workshops, film, VR experience, etc).

A HISTORY OF JEWELRY, FROM LOUIS XIV TO ART DECO
Organised by L’ÉCOLE Asia Pacific, School of Jewelry Arts, and led by two art historians, this course will explore modern jewelry history, from gemstones to precious metals and the most innovative use of materials, and from the Baroque to Art Deco.

This exhibition features Leung’s distinctive painting series Coins – Memories of Hong Kong portraying iconic city scenes with coins canvas, and a calligraphy series Characters Map of Hong Kong, depicting Hong Kong’s street names in different districts.

THE TAO OF FASHION
Fusing Chinese calligraphy, music, performing arts, fashion and technology, this interpretation of Tao Te Ching and fashion show will immerse yourself in the realm between reality and virtuality while digital puppets share the stage with performers.

HONG KONG DANCE COMPANY AND HELEN LAI: NINE SONGS
Inspired by the works of the great Chinese poet Qu Yuan and composer Tan Dun and presenting ancient legend in contemporary context, Nine Songs is staged by internationally renowned choreographer Helen Lai who blends poetry, dance, drama, music and rituals, with an award winning team of masters.
