EVENT DESCRIPTION

City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong (CCOHK) collaborates with the sensational Hungarian recorder player and comedian Gabor Vosteen in performances of The Fluteman Show on 27 November 2022, Sunday, at the Hong Kong City Hall Concert Hall, 2:30pm and 5:00pm. The Fluteman’s unique combination of virtuoso recorder playing and physical comedy has garnered numerous international awards. He plays the simplest instrument – the recorder – with jaw-dropping skill and performs with as many as five recorders at once. Under the baton of Australian conductor George Ellis, the programme will include popular classical hits and recorder concertos by Vivaldi, Telemann, Mozart, Monti and more. Be prepared to watch a master in collaboration with CCOHK, and at the same time, laugh your socks off!

“The fluteman melds musical virtuosity, comedy, bizarre outfits and a startling mastery of wordless vivacity into a sensational performance.” Saarbrücker Zeitung
