CENTRESTAGE 2022

EVENT DESCRIPTION

Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), Asia’s fashion showcase CENTRESTAGE will be held from 9 to 11 September at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). This year’s show features more than 230 well-known and emerging brands from 15 countries and regions.

In 2022, CENTRESTAGE will offer a trip to the metaverse, together with a number of virtual reality interactive zones, seamlessly blending technology with the fashion world to encourage fashion buyers and the public to fully immerse themselves.

Entering its seventh edition in 2022, the upcoming CENTRESTAGE will have “Inclusion and Diversity” as its central theme. The opening gala, CENTRESTAGE ELITES, will feature the 2023 spring/summer collections of Hong Kong fashion brand DEMO and Japanese brand Children of the discordance.

Derek Chan and Mite Chan, co-founders of DEMO, will give a preview of CENTRESTAGE highlights at the media event on 23 August. Moreover, key features from other CENTRESTAGE events will be revealed, including the Fashion Hong Kong Runway Show, FASHIONALLY shows and the annual Hong Kong Young Fashion Designers’ Contest (YDC). Collections from a number of brands exhibiting at the fair will be showcased at the media event’s fashion parade. Celebrity artiste Adam Pak will be guest model at the event.
